Joseph N. Perez, Jr. O.D.

Joseph N. Perez, Jr. O.D. grew up in Jamestown, North Carolina. After graduating from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee he attended graduate study at St. Luke’s Cataract and Laser Surgery Center in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Dr. Perez conducted his internships at the Eye Institute in Palm Harbor, Florida and Womack Army Hospital in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Dr. Perez is interested in primary eye care and contacts, ocular disease therapy, children’s vision and loves sports.

Staci A. Palmer O.D.

Staci A. Palmer O.D. is originally from Covington, Georgia. She received her undergraduate degree from Georgia College and attended professional school at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Palmer conducted her internships at Eglin Air Force Base, Tallahassee VA Hospital, Eye Institute, St. Luke’s Cataract and Laser Surgery Center all in the state of Florida. Dr. Palmer’s interests include primary eye care and contact lenses.

HeatherHeather Kienholz – Optician

Heather comes to us from Solon, Iowa. She graduated from Solon High School. In her spare time, Heather likes to play golf, be with her family, go on walks, and swim. She brings experience in glasses and insurance, and is our newest member of the Progressive Vision Group!

DorisDoris Brewer – Billing & Insurance

Doris brings with her 40 years of insurance billing and accounts receivable experience. She has been with us for eight years. She loves spending time with her Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix, Sierra! She’s active in her church and enjoys playing piano, golf and billiards.

MariaMaria Zavala Castillo – Scheduling Coordinator

Maria grew up in Mexico and is bi-lingual. She has been in the medical field for 25 years. Maria has three children and a beautiful new granddaughter! Maria enjoys movies, shopping and socializing in her spare time.

LeslieLeslie Guerra – Assistant/Technician

Leslie was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She graduated with a degree in Biology from UNC-G. Leslie has 10+ years experience in the optometry field and joined our team in 2013. In her spare time, Leslie enjoys re-decorating her house, collecting books, a fan of the Miami Dolphins and playing the violin. She hopes to learn to play the Cello in the future.
